Introduction Many people are looking for ways to use natural ingredients to help with ailments. Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is fermented juice from crushed apples. It contains acetic acid, which has been studied for its health benefits for years (Amazing Wellness, 2014). Apple cider vinegar is a supplement that is advertised widely to aid in weight loss over the last few years. It commonly comes in two forms; liquid and tablets. Recently, it has been advertised to promote weight loss by increasing the feeling of being full between meals. Other indications of use have been to alleviate leg cramps, stomach pain, sore throats, sinus problems, arthritis, to stimulate thinking, and slow the aging process. Topically it is used to soothe sunburn, shingles, insect bites, and in the bath water for vaginal infections (Amazing Wellness, 2014). In addition to supplements, ACV is commonly used in food preparation of dressings or food flavoring. No refrigeration is needed, store in a cool dark place away from direct sunlight. Dilute with water or juice for taste and to avoid stinging or burning by drinking raw. It is recommended to mix dose with eight ounces of water and drink it before meals, twice
