All this happened because of a shortage of water from once green and healthy crops to dead dry brittle crops that are abandoned by a drought. For example, we had to cut back on watering my lawn and it went from a green lawn to a dead lawn, because of cut backs. Mat Wiser said that, “ Water will become one of the defining limits to human development and a compound factor in human misery,”(2009 Wiser). If we don’t have water we will die faster without water than food, we can’t be greedy on something that we thrive and survive

In 1906, an earthquake and fire destroyed the city of San Francisco facing them with a long-lasting water and power shortage. This devastation led to public urgency and search for an adequate supply of water. Gifford Pinchot, who became a very influential and famous environmentalist, proposed a solution to the water shortage in San Francisco. Pinchot believed strongly in three principles regarding the use of natural resources: development, prevention of waste, and the common good. He also believed that national prosperity was threatened by scarcity and exhaustion of natural resources, while the major threat was waste.
When people are born there are basic needs that everyone should be accessible to survive. People need to have food, water, clothes and shelter, all these basic needs should be readily available. When it is heard that certain parts of the United States are suffering from basic needs is a huge concern. All people should have access to basic needs such as food and water. But now in the 21st century the United States, is facing problems that are usually seen in third world countries.
When one thinks about Colorado one thinks about the mountains, wildlife, and rivers. Colorado is a beautiful state that has so much land and wildlife to offer, it’s a state that is full of peace and tranquility with all its environment that it provides for our population and tourists. However, due to population growth and climate change Colorado runs the risk of going through a water crisis. Conservation Colorado is the largest environmental nonprofit organization in Colorado. Fighting for Colorado to be able to keep its beautiful wonders intact and to prevent from suffering from a water crisis by fighting for our state to conserve its water and prevent it from suffering a water drought.
This past weekend was nothing less than amazing and impactful! I truly am grateful and honored to have had the opportunity of being the guest speaker at the AKΨ Flint Water Crisis Benefit Concert Event! I was able to make a true impact with GOD influence, sharing my perspective and insights on the Flint Water Crisis, what led to it, and how the students/orgs can collaborate to help aid and contribute to the Citizens of Flint! I really hope people understand that Flint represents abandonment and it truly is a product of "Money" being valued more than "People!" I 'm very proud of students of WMU, they have a lot of potential and are doing great things!
Has the lack of water supply affected your life in the past three years? California has been in a drought recently, and there has been a great decrease in citizen water possession. The state should regulate water usage because people are using too much water, and it is affecting other people. There have been many cases of water shortages in communities. “For Angelica Gallegos, the worst part has been going without a shower for five months.”
The wonderful state of California has been in a water drought for the last four years but, recently has been in the worst drought of the state history. The drought problem has become a great deal that Governor Brown has declared a drought State of Emergency in January of this year. Even with the horrible conditions of the drought, Governor Brown has found a way to reduce water loss. In August 27, 15, Governor Brown surprises the state by presenting a decrease amount of water lost. According to CA.gov, “ Despite continued hot conditions, Californians surpassed June’s conservation rate and reduced water use by 31.3 percent during July, exceeding Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr.’s 25 percent mandate for a second consecutive month since the new emergency

However, the approaching of fresh water shortage has only until recently woken Canadians from their dreams. When Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development implemented underground water tapping programs and the Munk School of Global Affairs held a symposium themed on mapping underground water, federal and public concerns are fomenting.
