Here’s the initial draft for the project. I have incorporated all the ideas intended from the outline. However, I feel that my introduction needs to be worked on to give a smooth transition to the thesis and what the project will be covering in essence. I will be glad to hear your views!

Tackling addiction requires consideration to feature more than the moral perspective to lead to all-inclusive intervention methods that would ease the process of recovery for addicts.
Addiction is a problem that has attracted attention from those affected and a variety of other people concerned with coming up with effective ways to deal with the issue. However, most individuals in society tend to have a view that addiction is all about moral choice or a flaw in character (Loftus). This, therefore, leads to intervention methods limited to this opinion presenting an initial problem in the fight against addiction. Addiction is more complicated than merely associating it with being a moral choice. Physical pleasures and stressful situations are linked to neurotransmitters in the brain whereby in addictive situations, the brain function becomes impaired, affecting the biological systems in a manner that clear thought and making choices become hard (Loftus). Through biology, understanding is fostered in how the brain is affected in addictive situations, therefore, making the issue more than just a simple choice. The social aspects will be able to demonstrate that it is always a struggle for individuals affected thus fostering understanding while spiritually, consideration will aim to focus on the God-given life and the importance of each one of us despite how lost one might seem.
