On “All My Life For Sale” I found a green wool sweater being sold that had a description that definitely was both subjective and objective. The only that I’d say it was objective was when he specifically said that the sweater was in fact wool. Other than that, the whole description was pretty much a story about what led to him acquiring this sweater and it was specifically subjective when he said that it was warm and big because that can left up to an individual to decide. Instead they left the picture there as a reference for a potential customer to sole see what the sweater looked like. This kind of leads into the type of audience that each is trying to attract. The description for the sweater on “All My Life For Sale” had certain key things such as how he was able to trade in a vest to get the sweater, a jacket, and a few other things leading me to believe that these items were acquired form a more expensive shop and that they may be in a cold climate. Another key thing that stuck out to me was that he said he looked preppy in the sweater which supported my idea that the audience is probably geared towards a person that may may be in a cold climate that wants to look a little more upper class. The description of the sweater on eBay spoke about how it was hand-knit from a local woman in Ireland. This seems to make the sweater geared more towards an audience that cares more about quality items that may not be necessarily well known, someone that may be known as a “hipster”. The sweater from “All My Life For Sale” had a story behind how the man acquired the sweater that I couldn’t really relate to which may not even be something that people care about. Not only the story but as I stated before, I feel that the sweater was more for a higher class citizen
