The addition of these clubs into the program would help the teens feel more comfortable towards the people they are around, and to create a sense of community among the individuals living there. I think it’s necessary to do this because it’s possible that the adolescents are not making friends or they are not building a trusting relationship with the staff in the

In the negative part of the daycare today are 1-a non stimulating environment, 2-no emotional support from caregivers, 3- too many children,4- an unsafe environment, 5- an unhealthy environment, activities don't promote mental, physical, social and emotional growth,6- state licensing requirements aren't followed,7- a lack of open communication. The article that I have chosen focuses on exploring the benefits of participating in an intergenerational playgroup program (IPP) that is offered in an aged care facility. (Skropeta, 2014) IPP programs are extremely beneficial for all generations as it promotes increased awareness, self-esteem, and provides an opportunity for the individual to participate in an activity that is meaningful for older adults that gives them a sense of connection and helps retain a sense of autonomy. The study in this article included 48 aged care residents ranging from 68-101 years old, 41 child carers that were made up of 28 parents, 9 grandparents and 4 paid nannies and they brought 50 children ranging from 0-4 years old to the sites that were offering the IPP
Through this program I will get to know more of my peers that I might not always interact with. I can gain a better a knowledge of who they are. I will best serve as a member
I try to stay to myself and away from everyone so I can succeed and really try to improve my life so I can accomplish all of my goals. There are staff members which are qualified here at Woodland. And there are staff who want to see you succeed. What I think could be an improvement is when we make a good or bad decision assist us more in how to evaluate what we did and then where we can make improvements. None the less the center provided mostly good because of all of the information you can have to help you in life.

It seemed like a fun place to be while also being helpful in maintaining sobriety. I think one of the most influential things I learned from the meetings is that everybody can struggle from addictions and you would never know it. There are people from all different walks of life that have an addiction problem. Someone can have everything in their life and still be unhappy and turn to their addictions or they can struggle and have those addictions. I learned that it is a constant struggle for people.
I learned that a simple phone call means a lot to someone who lives on their own, talking to Virginia gave me insight to always make sure I have a relationship with my parents. My overall impression was amazed the way Mrs. Bravo carried herself I would never imagined she was lonely, depressed and slightly falling into poverty. As for the facility it is nice but there needs to be an essence of diversity from employers and participants. I would definitely recommend the YMCA to older people especially African Americans, due to the history of African Americans eating habits and health problems engaging in these fitness activities will end the stereotypes of our people. I wish there was a YMCA near my grandparents because they would be able to meet new people, become healthier and improve on their cognitive skills.
A debate has arisen due to the decision to not have a snow day today. When winter comes this debate always seems to be a common disagreement. Should schools have a snow day, or should they keep the doors open? When snow hits the ground and the roads become icy should you really risk your life just to go to school?
Daycare center don't bad for the child in any way, rather that it will help the kids figure out how to be social with kids their own age. Lowry contends that being far from the mother results in more "aggressive and defiant" kids, as reported by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. There are still some childcare centers where kids are ignored and not treated well. It is dependably the parent’s obligation to locate the best childcare center they can manage. At the point when set in a decent childcare, kids figure out how to collaborate with different children their age.
Every community has an issue of some sort. My communities issue is not having anywhere safe for kids and teens to hang out. Kids are getting involved with drugs and drinking because that is all that the community offers. We don’t have a bowling alley, or a skating rink, or a dance club, or anything for kids to do. However there are a bunch of bars and parks full of drug dealers!
In that time that the adult attends the program, they can experience activities inside/outside of the center (cooking, working, trips, apple picking, knitting, etc.), as well as attend academic classes to help develop
