Being just out of college and on your own is a scary thing, even worse when you're in debt for something such as credit card debt in this case. I was $10,000 in credit card debt and i got into this because while I was in college and I was careless with my money and credit card and never really thought about or worried about what it was going to cost me later on. While I was in school, I was always shopping, going out with friends, and eating out all the time. Now that I am done and have a full time job, this debt is coming back and it’s time to start paying it off. You really have to plan well because if I don’t it could take years to pay off and being so young I have a high interest which is going to make me pay so much more in the end. I have to be able to pay all my expenses such as rent and college loans along the way. It is not going to be an easy thing to do and it may take time, but in the long run it's best to handle it as fast as possible. Trying to get out of this debt was not going to be easy especially since I am a girl and I love shopping. This was going to be a time of major sacrifices for me. Until this is paid off, I am going to have a tough budget the next year and a half. My yearly total that I make after taxes is $26,600.
