Now a days when we turn on the TV, we hear about another mass shooting. The media displays the shooters name and their photo all across America, giving what the shooter wanted, fame. We sit there or stand in silence asking why did this happen. We, as humans, look for the easy answer. Something that makes sense to us, because someone wanting to kill people just to be noticed, isn’t an acceptable answer. We don’t want to be associated with that moster, so we blame the tool that was used to carry out the horrific act, guns. This is why people are afraid of guns. This is why there is a pro gun control movement. However banning guns will only make it worse. Through facts and statistics we see that more guns bring down crime. That’s why we see that with more guns, comes less crime. Also this is because law abiding citizen will use guns to protect themselves and deter criminal activity in the area. The fact that potential victims could protect themselves with a gun scares criminals, that why they attack soft targets. They attack gun free zones, soft targets, because, again they don’t follow the law. To them gun free zones are just easy places to score, it’s a fact. Also even if we could ban guns without guns coming in from other countries, like drugs do, it’s been proven that guns can be replaced with more deadly weapons, and you can even make bombs, guns in your basement, it’s that easy. Overall more guns will lower crime and make the United States of American a much safer place. More gun control, the banning of guns, will result in higher crime and make American a much more dangerous place. What would you rob, a bank with no guards (gun control), or a bank with guards (no gun control)? This is why we need guards, we need more guns. We have the police but that’s not enough, they don’t respond fast
