Did you know that the US is third in the world in murders? If you don’t count Chicago, New Orleans, Detroit, St. Louis, and Washington D.C. then the US would be 189th out of 193 countries. However, all five of those cities have very strict gun control laws. You may think that gun control helps, but it really doesn't. A study shows that in the past as more people owned guns, the crime rate has gone down.The constitution protects our gun rights, criminals don’t just use guns to kill and our FBI forces need to do more to assist in preventing more mass shootings in our great country.
The Second Amendment states we have to right to bear arms. If people want to take that right away, they will have to fight the Constitution and all gun owners. We …show more content…

Other people may rely solely on eating meat from animals. If there guns are taken away what would they hunt with, rocks? Hunting may be their way of life and only source of food. They might not have easy access to a grocery store. Also if there was no hunting there would be insufficient resources for the animals and many animals would die of starvation. Many of the times in shootings the shooter has a disorder of some sort. Whether they have depression or another mental disorder. So, way out law on good people. The laws should be on the depressed and angry people. They can either report themselves or someone can report them. Then the police can keep an eye on them. Many people think guns are the only thing that people murder with. Actually there are many other ways to kill people. Some ways are bombs, poison, physical means (strangling), knives, and blunt objects. A study shows that in 2011 that more people were murdered with blunt objects, like hammers and bats, then with guns. The horrible people that kill people for enjoyment don’t always use guns, they use other methods. It is not right to put the blame on all of the lawful gun owners of the US for the few people that kill people with
