In her article, Embodying Difference, Jane Desmond argues that dance offers important insights into the ways moving bodies articulate cultural meanings and social identities. As an energetic child, I found amusement in jumping, leaping and running about. In other words, movement has always been a constant necessity of mine. At the age of four, my lively spirit became a little too powerful for my parents, thus, my mom enrolled me in dance classes at the Milwaukee Ballet School and Academy to expel some of my vivacious character. Every plié, grand jeté and pirouette since my enrollment have helped to construct the identity I possess today. Through dance, more specifically ballet, I have found self-confidence and a substantial vehicle to express myself.
Soccer isn’t a one guy sport, it is a team sport. Soccer has a basic rules; First, we can’t touch the ball with our hand; only the goalkeeper can; Second, there are two cards; one is a yellow card, and the other is a red card; yellow card means if we got the yellow card warns us did another foul we will get another yellow card, if we get the second yellow card, the referee will give us a red card, and a red card means, we will not continue the match, and can’t play the next match. There’s two type of soccer; one of them is the normal soccer, and the other one is the beach soccer. Normal soccer we play in the stadium; the beach soccer, we will play at the beach with sand. We can’t start a match without our eleven players on our team.

Ever since i was young i fell in love with the art of dance. When i finally joined i felt like i was a little behind hence everyone was in my class was dancing since they were toddlers. My first day of dance was pretty nerve racking. My teacher would say to do something and i wouldn't know what to do because i didn't know any dance vocabulary. I would have to look around and try to fit in as much as possible so my teacher wouldn't think i wasn't fit for the class.
