Everyone should have an opportunity to step out of their comfort zone and show their true colors. A world where no one was better than the other, nobody was smarter or better looking than anyone, everyone was “equal”. But Harrison was different, He was smarter than most people. He knew that being smart wasn’t aloud in the world he lived in. He even tried so hard to be the same as everyone else. Until one day when Harrison realizes something isn’t right. He knew it was wrong to ever take a step out of being “different” and he had an opportunity to show his true colors. That’s what makes Harrison a modern person. He stepped out from what everyone else was doing and did what he thought was right but grew up thinking it was wrong. In an article named “When Good People Do Bad Things” by Ann Trafton, it talks about how good people do bad things. When people join groups rather than being on their own, they tend to do things they usually aren’t used to doing. A study shows that ”when people are in groups, they “lose touch” with their own morals and beliefs, and become more likely to do things that they would normally believe are wrong”(Trafton).
