As a matter o fact, Dallas had about 9,000 stray dogs who were a harm to themselves and to the public due to the fact that some pit bulls approached a pregnant woman and killed her and the unborn child. Ever since, a group of people created “The Street Dog Project” and got an imaginable amount of dogs to make Dallas a better place for everyone. In spite of all this, their primary goal was to save at least 50 dogs in one year, they saved 75 stray dogs instead. Although it may have not been a substantial change, but in order to solve a problem you need to start small. “Dallas has thousands of street dogs and our goal is to save as many as possible. We hope to raise awareness for the street dogs who just need a chance. We love sharing the transformations these deserving dogs make once they are safe in loving homes.”(The Dog Street Project).
