Women are typically more concern as they have a higher risk of having Alzheimer’s compared to the men. One such policy should be building awareness of Alzheimer’s. Not many would know what is Alzheimer’s unless someone says memory loss or dementia, especially women. Furthermore, women in their 60s are twice as likely to develop Alzheimer’s than breast cancer, revealing the high percentage of Alzheimer’s to breast cancer (Sauer 2015). By building awareness, it will allow people to lower their risk of developing Alzheimer’s and guarantee that they remain healthy for the remainder of their life. Furthermore, women should also try to know and understand the ten symptoms as it will help them slow the symptoms of Alzheimer’s. This allows the person to live longer and keep most of their memories intact for a specific amount of time before reaching the moderate or severe stage. In addition, prolonging the process of the symptoms will assist a person in becoming aware of the conditions when reaching the three different stages of Alzheimer’s.
