Area 51 is the United States air force facility located in Lincoln County, Nevada; although a wide percentage of people believe it serves more than just an air force facility. Many people believe it is a highly classified area where ufo’s and aliens are done research on and that is just the tip of the iceberg. However as there are the believers that believe Area 51 are hosting aliens there are also the number of people who believe the area is nothing more than just a military base with aliens completely out of the question. The Roswell Crash which took place 75 miles of the town Roswell, New Mexico is said to have been the actual wreckage of a ufo. The story goes that in 1947 a rancher by the name of Mac Brazer found what seemed to be pieces of metallic sheets, foil reflectors and many other mysterious debris that he could not explain. Frightened, he called the sheriff and in turn the sheriff called in officials to come make out what type of debris was really lying out in the field. The officials called in the air force of Roswell and within minutes soldiers skewered every piece of debris and hauled it off in armored trucks. The only explanation they gave was that it was simply a weather balloon that had gone down and crashed, now this “explanation” did not sit well with people. In a magazine cover story titled “A Rosewell Requiem” it explained different types of balloons that officials were working with at the time, however if it was just a simple weather balloon why would officials need to be called in and haul off any evidence that was left, many people took it upon themselves to try to make sense of what actually had crashed landed on that field in 1947.
