Argumentative research A Look Into the Astrological World View Astrology defines itself by the study of the movements and relative positions of celestial objects for information about human life and terrestrial events. The study has recently been transformed from a universal discovery to a belief people adapt into their lives as a form of religion and spirituality. It requires faith that the stars and the sky hold the destiny, future, fate and answers of all humans. Astrology originated from Egypt to the 1st century BC. When making decisions and figuring out what’s my view of something, I tend to connect to emotion and my feelings on the subject. I also rely on not only my opinion but others around me. My mother for instance, devotes her life to God, so using her biblical knowledge and relationship with Jesus, I lean on her faith for guidance, as well as my own. I have found that God never leaves and knows the right answer, so getting knowledge from Him the overall best way to figure out anything. Unfortunately, most of the time I rely on myself and my inner feelings for the end answer. The ancient science of astrology has been rediscovered only relatively recently, in the last fifty years. Although astrology originated from the ancient times, it resembles infancy. From the beginning times, people labeled astrology as a “legacy of confusing and obscure texts” (Jefferies). Because of the modern astrologist, it transformed into a clear and scientific discipline. People who believe in astrology tend to label as millennials.
