The word ‘Changmakers’ ,believes that, was firstly introduced by Ashoka foundation through print magazine in 1994. The magazine introduced how the changemakers (or called as social entrepreneurs) are tackling the world’s most critical problems with innovative, system-changing ideas. There are so many definitions for this word. In my opinion, changemakers is anyone who seeks to make a difference in society, no matter how small that difference may be and make it in a positive way for the betterment of all. Building bridge, renovating school, developing community library, etc. But how many infrastructures we have to build (or rebuild) to develop communities? Chawanad Luansang was introduced to the lifestyles of the rural poor through the part of a student leader of community service activities while he was studying in architecture major. Improving villagers’ living conditions was the main goal to achieve. But he found out that the more he built, the community’s quality of life was still the same. The building had not been effectively functioned as it should be, then it was abandoned. Because most villagers felt no ownership of the houses, nor did they perceive them as relevant for their lifestyle.
