La Llorona Ever wonder what it 's like at night in Mexico, what people see, what people hear, what happens in the dark? Many have and many find out the hard way. Whether that be misbehaving with their elders or just simply wondering out in the dark alone, not caring what happens. Always be on the lookout, always, because shadows are lurking, and waiting. This tale was created in Mexico, said to scare children and others say it 's true, and waiting to come and get us.
Note: I speak from experience as a hosting Foster family who have adopted two of the six residing minors we have received from the system. How many times have we heard the term 'Foster Care' in a positive way? Or maybe you've heard of the lion's den of 'Social Services' or the oh-so-ominous 'System' we most likely heard about in the movies? We may see this system as cruel and unfathomable, yet this system is meant to be founded on the actions of the public. Foster 'parents' are to be licensed after many courses of training.
There has always been a way for children to be cared for in the United States. In the early 1800s orphan asylums were the most popular way for homeless children to be taken care of. Then institutional care came around, where children were taught to grow up as quickly as possible. Placing-out was then created in the 1850s to use instead of the institutions. This form of foster care sent children to the western states to live in rural homes.
The researchers analyzed data from 1994 on basic indicators of the early education organizations within neighborhood conducted every four years that included all preschool and childcare organizations. When people think of children, images of innocence and love flood their minds. Sadly, not all children get to experience love. The foster system was created to place minors into a state certified home. Individuals may know what foster care is, but many are unaware of what goes on in the system. Due to unfortunate circumstances, foster children’s lives are in the hands of a new guardian and grow up depending on the system.
Here in Arizona there are more than 18,000 children in the foster care system, therefore it is obvious that there is a great need for foster families to care for these children all over Arizona. This is a topic of big interest to many people due to wanting to make an impact in the lives of many unfortunate children in care. This is a very sad but true topic. There are many opportunities for people to help these children by opening their homes, their lives, to these less fortunate children that have been abused or neglected. There are many opportunities to foster one of these children if one is interested to do so.
Have you ever thought about how it feels to be ripped out of the only place that you know as home? To get no explanation of why your parents just did not want you anymore? Not a lot of people think about this. Usually, the only people that do think about this is children that are experiencing or have experienced this problem. The children’s rights website stated that, “On any given day, there are nearly 428,000 children in foster care in the United States.”
There are so many laws I would change if I was given the opportunity. Even though the laws concerning divorce, seat belts, and school corporal punishment are important laws that need a little bit more tweaking, foster care is an everyday problem that continually is forgotten about. By shining light on the topic, I hope my voice is heard. The way we deal with these children isn’t the most desired way. Some of the requirements are outrageous and need a great deal of endeavor.
Based on a quick search on google, one could easily conclude that children one to twenty-one are not cared for properly in the foster care system nationwide. Shockingly, over four-hundred and fifteen-thousand children are accounted for in foster care each year. (Burdick) Without the proper means needed to house a child, and give them the family essence and life that they need, a child can suffer severely. A child can suffer from an unfit home in many ways, the lack of love and affection, the wrong kind of affection, and other wrongdoings.
Kate Stollsteimer Ms. Vaughan Eng. 102-RZA 8 March 2023 Missed Opportunities Foster children experience many more traumatic experiences in their early lives compared to the average person. They are exposed to behaviors and substances they should not encounter. They also have to go through the process of being removed from the only home they have ever known and the only parents or guardians they are familiar with. These children are then placed in an unfamiliar house with people they have never met with no time to ease into it and no time to warm up to them. With the child having to process and try to make sense of their new life, the last thing they should have to be worried about is basic healthcare, which should be covered under the umbrella

This industry is in a monopolistic competition. Most child care centers compete against other child care centers, though they must also compete against nannies and those who conduct their business at home (“Marketing Your Daycare” 2014). Each type of child care has their positives and negatives, which will either attract or repel potential customers. On one hand, child care centers are certified institutions that have an established clientele. Though the business may be well revered, it could still repel a customer due to the fact that the family may not know the owner of the center or its employees.

There are a great number of studies that state that the first five years of a child’s development are the most important and that they will set the tone for the child’s ability to learn, socialize, and be a successful member of society. Because of this, proponents believe that preschool should become mandatory for all children. While this might seem like a good solution to some, preschool should not be mandatory for all children before they enter kindergarten. There are many factors to be considered in a child 's early development and to put a blanket demand on entering preschool, could be a disservice to some children based on parental influences, environmental factors, and the level of education and care being given in a particular home childcare
Growing up my parents ran a daycare in(at) our house so I was always surrounded by children (the good and the bad). My parents were the type who had no problem enforcing physical punishments such as spanking, the flick of the hand, a pop on the mouth, etc. All these punishments are within the definition of acceptable punishment as stated by Oklahoma law (qtd. ---). They practiced this on me, my siblings, and the daycare kids (with parental consent).
