More outreach centers should be open to help better aid our veterans due to the increasing number of veterans. This could help be started by holding food and clothing drive and job fair’s should be open at least once a month. Michael Joseph Little stated also in the interview, that “the biggest thing that homeless veterans need is blankets: yet, there are many organizations that are already help providing this. Instead I propose that one start an informational drive to enlighten people about homeless veterans. It would be great for someone to find out where the soup kitchens and homeless shelters are in the area to find out what services they provide to veterans. Veterans need one stop shop in your area where you can give them information and hand out flyers so that they know all of the current places they can go to get assistance, such as church gym, or charity.” This dilemma is ongoing issue in many different parts of the world. It has not have made much awareness around and needs too. With a simple drive, charitable organizations or volunteering in a soup kitchen for veterans could help make a difference.
