With the Middle East crisis reaching a boiling point on the other side of the world, and terrorist groups such as ISIS wreaking havoc upon innocent civilians, U.S. soldiers are constantly fighting for our safety on a daily basis. According to Huffington post, 4,486 U.S. soldiers died in Iraq, 2,345 U.S. soldiers died in Afghanistan, and 1 million U.S. soldiers wounded in both wars. Organizations such as the Fisher House Foundation help these soldiers in many ways, and I believe Walmart should partner up with this organization since their operations reflect Walmart’s core values.

 It also runs a Hotels for Heroes program which uses donated hotel points to allow family members to stay at hotels near medical centers without charge.
 The Foundation also manages a grant program that supports other military charities and scholarship funds for military children, spouses, and children of fallen and disabled veterans.
How much will it cost and why is it worth doing?
 The cost for this partnership can vary because Walmart can be active in all of Fisher House’s operations or be active in very few. If Walmart gets involved with Fisher House’s main operations such as building houses, then at least 1 million dollars is needed.
 This is worth doing because there are many soldiers who are fighting for America risking their lives for a bigger purpose when they don’t need to be there. They made a difference in our lives and we ought to return the favor.
