In the history of feminism, it talks about the first movements and the background of how the movement started in the first place. Of course women were upset when they were not allowed to vote for an extended period of time and wanted to do something about it. The article states that women were not given as higher education as men back then because they were supposed to stay at while raising children and men were raised to a higher standard. Within the research essay one can use this information to empathize what the standard of women was back in earlier years.

His theory is that men do not actually believe in feminism because it has nothing to do about them and has everything to do with the opposite of them. The fact that the feminist movement has nothing to do with them so that they do not have interest in the movement at all and they may feel like it is opposing them. I use this piece of information in my paper to support my counter augment. I chose this specific one because I am doing my research on feminism and the counter opposite of women is men, and to read an article about how men perceive the women’s movement is exactly what I needed.

Compared to other articles about the American Dream of women is a little different that most of the others. This specific article talks about the perspective from other cultures, sexes, or practically anything as long as they supported the cause. I included this into my essay to show the positive growth of the feminist movement. The section of the article that I used also shows the support that the people within the feminist idea. Because the article includes the viewpoints of a variety of people that support the American dream of women I thought it would be useful due to all of the different races, sexes, or even
