Many children do not have the opportunity or access to early learning centers and this is a problem. Preschool provides young students with social interactions between children their own age as well as intensive learning that will give them an advantage and preview of content covered in the first year of kindergarten. Research reveals that children exposed to an early learning program have less chances of dropping out, getting involved with the law, need of special education, as well as repeat grades. Preschool is vital to a child’s future and academic experience just like kindergarten is. Preschool should be included in the public education system.
