In recent discussions of whether or not to enforce tougher laws in order to stop texting and driving, a controversial issue has been whether or not to enforce the laws. On one hand, some argue that texting and driving really isn 't that dangerous. From this perspective, they think that this isn 't very dangerous because it is only for a quick moment. On the other hand, however, others argue that it is very dangerous and can bring great harm to people that are driving. For example, a statement that supports this would be that many people have died or have gotten seriously injured. According to this view, drivers think laws should be enforced in order to stop texting and driving. In summary, the issue is whether or not to enforce tougher laws in order to stop texting and driving. or to ease up on the whole texting and driving thing because there is not anything wrong with texting and driving. Third of all, this article shows a story about a young boy who was driving and he got into an accident in the process and he also killed 4 people, pretty major injuries and was put on life alert, rates show that the percentage for crashes go up as the number of new drivers hit the streets. The main cause for that is cell phone use. "Virtually all the parents polled believe that teenagers learn safe driving by example..... driving home from a travel basketball game, I watched one team dad floor his sports car on the merritt parkway."(Hirshey).
