Should Immigration Be Easier?
Is America really just? One might ask this when it comes to a certain subject, but America is supposed to be fair, right? Well when talking about immigration its not so fair. The people of America have the right to go anywhere, all people can travel but they no longer have an easy way to move from country to country. People move to get away from disasters and personal issues which is legal and is fine, but now it can be called illegal to be a refugee in the America. Immigrants find it hard to even get here to the United States, they have to go through years of screening, vetting, and then get discriminated against just because they want a better life.
Undocumented Immigrants don’t make a negative impact on America. They pay taxes, about $11-12 billion a year, to the state. While paying taxes and making a positive impact on the states GPD is a great thing, they also create busnisesses. In 2014 the National Academics of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, found that immigrant owned busnisess provided about 3 to 5 million jobs. First step is American citizen eligibility, they check to see if you are eligible to live in the Unites States. Second step is the Form N-400, the form is complicated and has to be passed. Step three and four are to get pictures, finger prints, and documents. Step five is to get the neutralization interview completed. The last step is is the Oath of Allegiance this step is permited and need to be completed to become an American citizen. After all the steps are completed you will be granted the neutralization certificate. This is a very long process and it’s not easy but undersand that it’s for the safety of our country.
