In life some feel the need to prove something to others. That they are better, stronger, or even more intelligent. Whatever the case may be people will go through extreme measures to prove themselves. But who do we really need to prove anything to? Is it our parents?
To start off with the most important thing about the 4th amendment is that we the people should for safe to go in public and not be afraid to be searched unless the police have probable cause, and reasonable suspicion. The first question i'll be addressing is what fundamental should a American have in the 4th Amendment. Katz v Ohio is a perfect example of what fundamental should a American have in the 4th Amendment, Katz was convicted under an 8-count indictment. I believe the government went too far by attaching a device to hear his conversations, that's invading personal privacy with a non probable cause. The next reason i'll be presenting is writs of assistance.
The Alaskan Bush is one of the hardest places to survive without any assistance, supplies, skills, and little food. Jon Krakauer explains in his biography, Into The Wild, how Christopher McCandless ventured into the Alaskan Bush and ultimately perished due to lack of preparation and hubris. McCandless was an intelligent young man who made a few mistakes but overall Krakauer believed that McCandless was not an ignorant adrenalin junkie who had no respect for the land. Krakauer chose to write this biography because he too had the strong desire to discover and explore as he also ventured into the Alaskan Bush when he was a young man, but he survived unlike McCandless. Krakauer’s argument was convincing because he gives credible evidence that McCandless was not foolish like many critics say he was.
Argumentative Paper Zoos and aquariums have been around since the times of the Romans and the Egyptians. Although the zoos and aquariums have adapted since those times, they still have the same concept behind them. Although zoos and aquariums have been around for ages, over the decades, controversy about these two places have grown. Although most people don’t think anything of it, there is a huge debate as to whether zoos and aquariums are acceptable or not. This topic can be very touchy to some people and can sometimes cause disputes.
De-Extinction, a interesting topic that most people don’t have an opinion on. De-extinction is a process which uses the DNA of extinct animals and use a surrogate mother and father to bring back an extinct animal. Scientists are working on ways to bring back animals such as wooly mammoths and maybe even dinosaurs. This is a very hopeful topic from different points of view, and a very scary topic from others. Also, some scientists think it’s impossible for certain animals and not for others.

“A species protected in captivity provides a reservoir population against a population crash or extinction in the wild”(Hone). In other words, zoos provide great protection for animals that are close to extinction or had no place in the wild. Zoos should be fully supported by citizens. The interactions between humans and dolphins started centuries ago when our ancestors carved drawings of cetaceans on rocks and passed on legends and folk tales; some described them as beasts and others as spiritual creatures. These marine mammals are also hunted as long as three thousand years ago as resources: their meat for food; their blubber for oil, and their teeth and bones for clothes, jewelry, or tools (Bauer, McCafferty, Simmonds, & Wright, 2013, p.201). As time pass, dolphin and whale hunting became a more prominent and structured industry, and the knowledge about these marine mammals’ biology and behaviors grew. In recent decades, with the help of ample media exposure and scientific publications, the public shifted its attitude
Many people have memories of visiting The Zoo as a child. Watching the gorillas, tigers and many other animals was a long awaited thrill. Feeding the giraffes caused one to jump up and down with excitement; now, picture all this suddenly disappearing. What if all this thrill and excitement were to be confined to just an image searched on the Internet, just because such animals became extinct? Unfortunately, this picture might not be far from becoming our reality.
Animal Rights Some people assume that just because animals cannot speak that they cannot feel pain. It is not okay to torture living beings that have their own thoughts and breathe the exact same air us humans breathe. It is unjust and selfish to stand by and take no action while everyday hundreds if not thousands of innocent animals die without reason. No matter how much fur or how many limbs the creature has; it should be treated as equal as a person. A heart beat is a heartbeat regardless of the body it’s in.
Animal Cruelty Have you ever wondered how much atrocious animal treatments are occurring around the world? The average number of animal abuse cases reported in the media each year is 1,920 according to a study conducted this year by Statistic Brain Research Institute. Moreover, a lot of animals struggle around the globe because they are often beaten, neglected and hunted, which forces them to fight for survival.
