The Legalization of Marijuana My paper is gonna be about how beneficial Marijuana (Weed) can be and how we can use it for proper uses. This so called, “drug” has been legalized in Colorado, Washington, Alaska, and Oregon. Although Cannabis has been used for medical uses in 26 states (“4 reasons”), and that’s pretty smart because it helps a lot with injuries, focusing, and just a lot of medical problems. A very huge reason that Marijuana was legalized was because of immigration of Mexicans, so yes it came from a racial cause. This is a little description about Marijuana: There is made up names for the plant such as weed, herb, pot, grass, bud, ganja, or etc. This little plant is a greenish-grey mixture of the dried flowers of Cannabis Sativa. Ancient culture seemed to grow this, not to just get high but for medical uses such as today! There was also colonists that grew this, not just to smoke but to make textiles and rope, there was also hemp fiber. That was made to make clothing, paper, rope, and the seeds for some food. Back in the day, the TCH of weed was way lower than today. These days people put chemicals in their stuff and sometimes lace it. Lacing it would mean like putting other bad drugs in it such as: cocaine, meth, and all them other rough and harsh drugs (“History of Marijuana”). How do some of the marijuana users consume it? There is a couple of ways they do it, such as smoking, vaping, sub-lingual (placing it under the tongue), application to the skin, or eating it.
