Capital Punishment

In the United States, law enforcement is severe. The punishment for breaking the law also is. Capital punishment is not an appropriate response for these cases. Capital punishment means the death penalty in a criminal’s sentence. That can also mean the death of the prisoner. No one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes,big or small. No one should have the authorization to execute or judge when a person’s life ends. Capital punishment is inhumane and we should have a different punishment that is more corporal.

Philosophy is an intense prompt, but we as human beings claim that mistakes and errors are common through life. We commit them every single day of the week. That is what make us humans, and human life is very short. Capital punishment makes a short life, even more shorter. Violence to criminality is not the answer to justice. If a person kills another person, they receive this kind of punishment. Than after pleaded guilty by the federal judges, the life of the criminal will be deterred. And who is doing that? This means people who are convicted and sentenced with the death penalty can still be innocent. There are flaws to everyone and everything, some people dies even though they pleaded innocence. It takes as long as 20 years to get their complaints to be heard. These events has happened before also. According to the Inquisitr, “More than 130 people have been released from death rows across the U.S. since 1973 because evidence was found showing they were wrongfully convicted. In 2003, ten defendants were released from death row because they were wrongfully convicted, as well.” There has been numerous cases of wrongful executions, it is growing in numbers. Death is irreversible, stop it
