There are many other people that are being racial profiled and discriminated on such as Arabs, and Muslims. “There is a basic assumption underlying racial profiling in the counterterrorism context, predominantly at airports and border crossings, is most likely to be committed by members of a particular racial, ethnic or religious group (in this context, Arabs and Muslims), and that members of that group are, in general, more likely than non-members to be involved in that type of criminal activity.” (civil rights) Like all the other assumptions that are being made these too are false. Authorities cannot go around racial profiling and discriminate on people just because of their color. This too is wrong and it needs to be stopped. I can understand that the authorities have their guards up, but to constantly dehumanizing a person because of their race is not the right thing to do.The police and the government need to sit down and have meetings, about how to resolve all these issues that America is facing because of its citizens being racial profiled and discriminated on. We as a people have a voice that can be used to make the police and government hear use, without acting out with violence and destruction. This year alone there has been thirty -two police shootings. Including “Harris County Deputy Darren H. Goforth, 47, he was in uniform at a Chevron gas station when the killer approached him from behind and shot him multiple times.”( heavy.com) It is said that he was shot by an African American male. The continuous violence against all people needs to stop. This is not going to help the situation, it is only going to make matters
