I believe that in life you need to take joy in anything that you do. Quoting the Army recruiting motto “Be All you can be” is the precise way that we should live our lives. I believe in everything that we do we need to do our best. Otherwise, I feel that I am wasting my life and living in mediocrity. Since graduating my bachelors in Electrical Engineering. I’ve have had full-time jobs in various industries, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I would take the good from the competitor product and apply it to my own. Besides enjoying of new product development, as a product development engineer I also like product management. As a product development engineer one of our major task is managing product that we develop from conception all the way to retirement. I like the aspect of seeing the product as a person and watching its life progress. We can always find joy by how well the product sales and number of users buying the products to incorporate in to their corporate systems. Sometimes we also encounter difficulties where we experience either firmware or hardware issues with the product. I also enjoy the customer complaints for my designed product. We sometimes don’t think how end user would apply our product in innovative configurations. These feedbacks would enable us to make a better product in the future. It was very exciting working at the TV studio sets. I enjoyed working with the production crews. I met some of the TV show host like Jay Leno. The experiences were very awe-inspiring. I did my best to help around the studio sets. Working at the studio was a totally new experience that challenged me and gave a skill set in cinematography, broadcasting, and most importantly networking with interpersonal relationships. In addition to working at the studio I also enjoy designing new features to cinematic monitors. One of my first experiences with design new feature was to add an overlay to the monitors, which allows the cameramen to know when their camera is live. This design experience enabled me to link what I’ve learn from my undergraduate studies and applied it this real-world application.
