From being an actor in front of the camera, I didn 't think I would be just as passionate working from behind the camera as well.
My interest in cinema production developed in 2012 as an actor casted as the lead in a Bromance comedy for a UCSD film production called Missed Connections. I had a great experience working with them compared to all the other filmmakers I had worked with prior. The directors liked my ideas and encouraged me to suggest more for their production. I had no idea San Diego colleges or universities had film productions courses and figured since I had ideas, I can start creating my own projects to gain experience and exposure through acting. This was the turning point in my life as I started to discover my new passion.
After acting in Missed Connections, I had an idea for another project and brought those students on board to produce my first small production for a video

"When I graduate, I 'm going to be a Breakdancer." Looking back at what I said during my high school exit interview I sincerely appreciate my teachers for not discouraging my dreams, however unrealistic they may have seemed. Breakdancing made me the person I am today; social and creative with an abundance of opportunities.
I got into breakdancing by watching music videos. I use to record them with a VHS player and then played them back in slow motion so that I could meticulously study their moves frame-by-frame. I would imitate these moves at family parties while also teaching those that wanted to learn. This helped me bond with relatives from Mexico because I didn 't speak spanish. Breakdancing also stopped kids from bullying me and allowed me to make friends which led to starting a breakdancing crew. We practiced and prepared for local competitions and
