I am applying to your Bachelor’s of Fine Arts: Acting for the Theater for the fall of 2017. I am currently in my second year of a Bachelor’s of Arts; majoring in Film Production with a minor in Drama at the University of New Brunswick. I am interested in your program because of its content and location. The content of the program seems to be what I am looking for; I am currently studying Drama at the University of New Brunswick and their program doesn’t offer what I am looking for. Your program seems to be more spread out and your classes are more specific in it’s content compared to what I am currently taking. It also seems to possess opportunities that I wouldn’t have in New-Brunswick. Montreal is a vibrant city filled with artists; I feel like the location of your school would help me grow even more as a person and as a performer. I am looking for a program that includes all aspects of theater productions and that has classes that will go deeper into the material. I am also interested in a program that will give me more performance opportunities during and after my studies.

After the production of Grease some students were selected to participate in an alternate French program; the goal of the program was to write a musical based on an Acadian historical legend. I was asked to participate and I gladly accepted, in that period of time I had the chance to work with many Acadian artists such as Danny Boudreau, Mario “Fayo” Leblanc, Daniel Pinet, Jason Guerette (Star Académie 2012) and many more.
