Psychology and the Bible talk about greed, wealth and morality as a bad thing, but the opinion is still in the air whether how greed, morality and wealth change the actions and the ideology of people. (Still working on the intro)
In an article, created by Paul M. Piff, named the Higher Social Class predicts increased unethical behavior, the idea that a higher members of society are more prone to fall into the unethical behaviors. In psychology, Morality is an entire field that starts from understanding reward and or punishment until the concept of social justice. Morality is a concept that has been disputed over years and the best understanding is that one goes through a process to achieve full morality. The problem with morality is that is usually influenced, but the environment. Greed wants more for oneself and that's the reason the Bible disapproves of it. The Bible looks at greed as an abomination towards God because God has done so many selfless things for our benefits that the Lord, or at least the word of God, hates that we are so self-centered. Another concept that greed tackles is the concept of Faith. Faith is the believing something that we can see, but know that exists. When people are greedy they don’t trust that God can provide like in Exodus, when the people did not trust in the Lord for the Manna and tried to take more than their share. Greed, according to 1 Timothy 6:10, is the love of money which in other words Greed is the root of all evil. The Bible mentions this because again, Love is something that is supposed to be pure and must have no bound, but love for money falls into the impure because it is human ideas and it is bounded to the money exists but if does not exist where would the love
