I am here to persuade you to vote for the proper and right representatives for our nation, but first, let me say that the Constitution is not meant to mistreat us. It is not meant to oppress us, but it is a way for us to unite, and at the same time have a balance of power. To survive as a respected nation, it requires the transfer of important, though limited, powers to a central government, which can be done without destroying the identity or autonomy of separate states. I know that none of us wants to replace an oppressive monarchy with another unrestrained regime. It is time to stop absurd competition between states that the Articles of Confederation never ceased because of its instability and disorganization. The Articles of Confederation gave too much power to the states and too little to nothing to the federal government; hence the conflicts between the states. We are one nation and we should not be divided. It is time for a new balance, and it will be a achieved by the help of the Constitution, a federal act. Do not fret because representatives will be chosen by a greater number of citizens that have similar beliefs and values as each other, and he, who is most respected and worthy of character, will surpass candidates who are clearly weak-willed, opposed, and hostile towards the things that we want or believe. We have more power than we think, it is our duty and a necessity to choose leaders that will be rejoiced to hear us out, consider, and act. It is essential for us to know that we have the right to voice our opinions. We have the will to come together and discuss what is best for us. We have the power to come together and finally unite as
