‘’...One good dream is worth a thousand flashlight batteries.’’(Pfeffer 1) Ashleigh and her father are dreamers. Although her mother is not a dreamer. This is the reason that Ashleigh parents are divorced. Her father has a tough life. Because her father is a dreamer, it caused Ashleighs father to get into some money trouble. In order to fix the issue Ashleigh, wanted to take her mother's emergency money. Ashleigh took the money from her mom because she wanted to help her dad, he made her feel special, and Ashleigh and her dad are dreamers. First of all Ashleigh wanted to help her dad. Ashleigh asked ‘’Can you afford it?’’(Pfeffer 2) when she was worried about her dad and wanted to help him, by asking if he can afford to buy her dinner.
