NASA has accomplished much in the past. It has sent people to the Moon and brought them back. Now NASA has found something amazing. This awesome discovery has opened a door to a new and ambitious frontier., NASA is preparing to send humans to Mars in between 2020-2030. Ashley Dale is the commander of Mars Crew 134 at the Mars research center in Utah. Seasonal Dark Streaks on Mars are caused by flowing water. The water has a chemical in it to stop it from freezing or evaporating. Many people applied for a one way trip to Mars. NASA has narrowed this lot down to one hundred people. Mankind will have entered a new era, and will face its largest science project yet.

Ashley Dale is commander of the Mars Crew 134 team. He is with his team in south central Utah. There are three places on Earth with a climate close to that of Mars. They are, The mountains of Hawaii, a desert in South America, and south central Utah where Dale and his team are. Dale and his team are living like they would on Mars. They have space suits that they have to put on when they go outside, and they have only what they came with. Seasonal dark streaks on Mars’ surface, called recurring slope linear, have been proven to be caused by flowing water. However, the water is not pure for it has perchlorate salts that lower the freezing temperature so the water will not freeze. Because of this NASA is able to start working on sending humans to the Red
