Asian’s entrance examinations give a chance all students fairly. In the U.S., students have to prepare at least six things for applying to University such as Grade, Essay, Letter of Recommendation, Extracurricular Activities, Standardized Tests, and Interview. Of course, also in Asia, there are some types of examination styles, examination for selected candidates and Admission Office examination, but basic one is entrance examination. For example, if students could get high score to this examination, he can apply better university. Thus many Asian students really focus on the day of entrance examination. There are many students who begin to study from 1st year of high school for this exam or there are also some students who begin to do it from 3rd year. It is up to them. On the other hand, for example, in Japan it is not necessary thing. This means than every students have a chance to go to any university even if their first or second year’s grade was lower than average. For instance, there is a real story about upset win. Even though she was a student of a high ranked high school, she became a bad girl and she did not study 1st and 2nd years as well. As a result, her grade was the lowest one. However, when she was 3rd year at high school, she decided to be resolved to study for entrance examination. Finally, she could enter to the top of Japanese private University. As we can know from this story, Asian entrance examination can give students fair chance even if they missed the grade of 1st and 2nd
