Throughout the novel-That Eye The Sky, written by Tim Winton, it explores spirituality. The novel uses various first person techniques such as symbolism, imagery and of course characterisation. Morton Flack which is the narrator and the protagonist of the film has a strong connection with spiritualty although he does not fully understand what that is or why he can see and hear things that others can not. It becomes obvious from early in the novel that Ort’s life revolves around his family. Harris believes that the term religion is misleading to the general public, especially concerning specific religions, and this could result in people being influenced in an extremely bad way. Harris elaborates on his opinion by giving his audience two examples, while explaining the main differences between the two. Harris talks about how Jainism, which is a religion in India, followers believe in nonviolence and have no doctrine of holy war or self-defense. (2010) by McMinn, Staley, Webb, and Seegobin the authors decipher the differences between various Christian approaches. Biblical counseling, pastoral counseling, and Christian psychology are a few of the different methods which can be used when clients want a Christian perspective integrated into their therapy. Biblical counseling is mainly used among very conservative Christians who wish to return the role of counseling to the church (McMinn et al., 2010, p. 392). “Biblical counselors consider the bible to be superior and more authoritative than psychological science, theory, or technique” (McMinn et al., 2010, p. 392). Pastoral counseling can have two different meanings.

In relation to Christianity, Ninian Smart’s Seven Dimensions of religion seem to all be at play and sometimes overlap between dimensions. But because Christianity is such a vast religion with many subdivisions and differing views, certain dimensions that are consistent throughout the differing sects play a greater role than other dimensions that are less consistent across sects. Consistently prioritized in this religion are the aspects of the ritual or practical dimension, the ethical or legal dimension, and the experiential or emotional dimension. For Christianity, the ritual or practical dimension applies to the various forms of worship, prayer, and other practices of the Christian church.
Boxing is a sport that existed thousands of years to entertain humans. It’s a sport that carried both pain and rush to its athletes giving them both fame and money in the same time. However, boxing as sport never actually elevated since the beginning of time people still go and sit in a large auditorium and pay for tickets to watch the big fight between two individuals who their ultimate goal is to hurt each other in order to win. While some might think our civilized world could rise above this, others oppose them by just referring to this dangerous act as a sport. Personal Position Spiritual discernment is a process that integrates prayer and knowledge of the Bible within decision-making, taking the process of strategic thinking beyond what is rational or political, to the level of the sense of the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Characterized by listening to God and putting situations into biblical context, spiritual discernment is a discipline viewed as a transformative process of divine-human cooperative imagination, while discovering and choosing decisions that lead to actions (Mellon & Kroth, 2013). According to Horton (2009), there are three major approaches to spiritual discernment: the bull’s eye approach, the wisdom approach, and the relationship-formation approach. Individuals who adopt or practice the bull’s eye approach believe that God has a perfect detailed plan for their lives and they are responsible for discovering that plan and following it. Discuss the difference between numinous and mystical religious experience, and give specific examples to illustrate the difference. A religious experience is a strong experience or feeling that pulls you closer to God.
