He was trustworthy, full of faith, full of wisdom and a godly man. He loved the Lord with his whole life and always encouraged himself in the Lord. When he did something wrong or made wrong decisions, he was truly repentant towards the Lord and the Lord forgave him of his iniquities.
9. Personal Application : I need to be more like David. Firstly, I should trust in the Lord with all my heart. I used to have wavering faith in the past such as when I did not see my healing manifestation right away, I grumbled before the Lord and kept on asking Him why was I not healed. I also tend to be short-tempered when bad things happened to me. But when I read about the life of David, I want to be like him, to be more patience and also trust the Lord with all my heart without wavering my faith in Him. Secondly, I also want to be even more thankful and greatful to the Lord just like David for all that He had done in my life in the past and also in the present times. Without Him, I am nothing. He is both my Creator and Father. To be more godly just like David and also love God with all my heart and mind. Third and lastly, I want to be also like a man after God’s own heart just like David and that will be the best thing happen to me.
