Living as Children of Light Research Project

When a person thinks of light in a spiritual sense, they think of purity, warmness, love, and being holy. These words point to Jesus's character. One also thinks of believers as being a reflection of God's goodness, love, and righteousness amongst the world. These traits reflect being children of the light. Children who reflect the love, the understanding, and the compassion of Jesus. Children who desire not to sin but to please God in every manner. If they do sin, they receive being rebuked as an act of love, because God wishes for no man to perish (John 3:16).
This paper aims to discuss how one lives as a child of the light in a dark, corrupt world living in sin that they were once among. It first explores two scriptures that will reveal a person's new life in Christ. These two scriptures are Ephesians 2:1-10 and Colossians 3:1-14 with the focus being on the verses 11-13.
