Three boys.Operation Protective Edge.Women stabbed to death.Four holy kedoshim brutally butchered.How could one believe in god when such horrific things are happening all around him.Meanwhile it seems that the wicked are prospering and having good things happen to them. Why is it that bad things happen to good people while the wicked people seem to have it all? How could we explain the tragic events that have befallen Klal Yisrael throughout history and especially the past couple months.Where is god and why is he allowing good and innocent people to suffer tremendously for seemingly no good reason. The first method to answer this question can be heard from Rabbi Klapholtz of the DRS Yeshiva HS for Boys. Rabbi Klapholtz explains that in order to attempt at answering this famous question one must first make three assumptions. Assumption number one is that God knows everything;Assumption number two: God can do everything.Finally Assumption number three: God is just.
