Attending a orthodox church was an interesting experience. On May 28th, 2017, Saint Andrew was the Eastern orthodox church attended. In addition, the service started at 9 AM. Frist impression regarding the church was beautiful. The structure the building was pleasingly attractive. Interring the building was invitational as ushers greeted individuals. Similarly, the interior was strikingly gorges with beautiful artwork along with decorations. The decorations consisted of golden crosses. In addition, paintings consisting of Jesus, covered the interiors walls. Noticeably, paintings that seemed to be Jesus disciples appeared on the back wall of alter. Noticeably the orthodox belief is similar to Christian theology. This claim is creditable since orthodox church is another form of Christianity. Nevertheless, there are few distinct differences such as the rituals. Orthodox undergo vast amount of rituals in comparison to modern Christian churches. They incorporated worship throughout the entire service. There worship consist of singing bible verses along with prayer. Whereas modern Christian churches typically worship for thirty minutes then preach. However, this form of worship introduced an experience rather than religious teachings. Throughout the service, implications of attempting to feel Gods presence appeared imperative. Nevertheless, confessing sins were imperative for healing. Similar to modern Christian churches confessing sins allows the individual to begin the healing process. When individuals fail to confess their sins, bondage may consume the person. Additionally, the priest wore a fancy robe which seemed to imply holiness along with rituals. In addition, theological views are the identical to modern Christian beliefs. Since prayer along with teachings were biblical quotations, gives the ideal of identical beliefs. The priest quoted scripture comparable to biblical salvation concerning Jesus.
