In the first few chapters I wasn't fond of this book, however as we went in depth I started admiring and appreciating the characters, writing style and plot. "To Kill A Mockingbird", by Harper Lee is about the Finch children recognizing prejudice and racism in their neighbourhood (Maycomb County), with the guidance of their father Atticus Finch, a lawyer who has righteous principles. Atticus Finch is one of the characters that I highly respect in this novel. I really admire how he treats his children because of how involved he is in their lives, but at the same time he allows them to decide for themselves.
