Who Is To Blame For Simon's Murder?

Simon dies in a high school classroom while in detention. No one knows why or how he died. The only witnesses are Cooper, Nate, Addy, and Bronwyn. None of them except for Nate have ever been in detention. They all think someone set them up because they were all caught with cell phones in their bags. Meanwhile, their real ones were in their lockers. They had no explanation to why they were in detention, but Nate was a different story. He was always in detention, it was like a second home to him. When Simon died, it was a terrifying and tragic event for all of them. They all were suspects in Simon’s murder, even though they were all innocent. They had no idea what actually happened. They thought Simon’s death was an accident, only it wasn’t.

All she cared about the day she was put in detention was getting right out to see her boyfriend Jake. Only she didn’t know at the time that Jake already knew that she cheated on him. Once Addy had the courage to tell Jake that she cheated on him with one of his best friends, Jake went ballistic. It was one of the worst breakups ever. Addy had to move on with her life and she had to change everything because she was so used to asking Jake before doing anything. When Addy starting digging further for more information on Simon’s death, she found out that Jake had planned on taking over Simon’s blog to keep ruining people’s lives. She was furious because she never thought that Jake would do anything like that. When she went to Janae’s house to check on her one night, she found out the whole story on how Simon died and why. Janae and Jake were the only people who knew why Simon commited suicide. Addy was confused as to why Jake was involved and when she asked Janae she wish she wouldn’t have known the answer. “He got into the whole thing once Simon died. She was the one that everyone went to when they didn’t understand something. Simon hated Bronwyn because she would get everything without even trying. She was always getting asked to explain problems during class even though Simon understood everything already. Simon found out that Bronwyn cheated on a test and planned to ruin her life. I’ve seen and heard about many students that have cheated on tests because they wanted to get a better grade or they didn’t know how to answer the question. Bronwyn wouldn’t be the perfect student anymore and she wouldn’t be favored. Nate took Bronwyn home after detention that day. Overtime, Nate and Bronwyn started to fall for each other. They would stay up on the phone all night long and Nate would sneak into Bronwyn’s house to come see her. They couldn’t use their actual phones to call each other though, so Nate would bring Bronwyn a different phone every time the old one ran out of minutes. When Nate was arrested, Bronwyn didn’t know what to do. She knew that he didn’t kill Simon. She felt helpless like couldn’t do anything. Bronwyn started to gather more information with everyone else to be able to get Nate out of jail. When Nate was released Bronwyn went to visit him. He wasn’t the same anymore. She couldn’t talk to him like she used to, things were difficult. She broke up with Nate and moved on to someone else. A few months later, Nate found her and apologized for the way he treated her. He
