Simon grew up on the main land till he reached the age of 13. It was then he as enrolled into Redleaves Academy. All he wanted to do was to be a good dad, Simon didn't care about what field to go to. He just wanted to become a husband and dad to a loving family. This made him a little too forward with the ladies and they tend to push him away. Simon tried his best to be smooth however, his energy and passion always spills out on anyone who's gives him a chance. Simon was just a hopeless romantic that wanted to share his life with a special woman. At the age of 16, he found a firecracker lady with a fire of twelve of him combine. The others were scared of her pyromaniac tendencies and quirky behaviors, this however, made Simon's head flutter. There was one issue though, she was a teacher. Emily Shea was a 23 charmander that looked younger than she was.

This idea was childish at best, Simon knew this. He just wanted his firecracker back in his arms someday. She left without a word and left without a trace. Maybe if he makes his school successful, she'll look back and they can become a family. At the age of 32, he got his teaching degree and picked out the job as the new principal of Redleaves Academy. At this point, Simon tries his best to make the school a wonderful experience for all of its students. When people ask him why he took the job, all he said is " To send kids to adulthood with a smile." Simon got everything, he got back with Emily, got the school to peak condition. Till Emily died out in a flood... The most fiery people he knew died because stormy season was worst than usual. Simon was out on a business trip and came back to his school damaged and a lot of the people he loved
