Autism spectrum disorder is a result of heterogeneous neurodevelopmental circumstances in the brain (Lai, Lombardo & Baron-Cohen, 2014). In other words,children with autism have differences in the way their brain develops and processes information so as they get a little bit all there sometimes the signs come out, usually show from two to three years old.
