Autism is a psychological condition that affects children’s experience with their everlasting difficulties when it comes to social interaction, communication, repetitive behaviors and etc (Frazier at al, 2014). Autism is surrounded by a broad spectrum which affects an individual language and intellectual abilities in a difficult manner (Frazier at al, 2014). Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) affects six year old children in a range from 60 to 10,000 (Frazier at al, 2014). The researchers stated that in order to diagnose a child with ASD, they have to go through a procedure that includes their developmental history, current behaviors, cognitive and language abilities and etc (Frazier at al, 2014). The two types of diagnosis that the researchers use when it comes to diagnosing Autism are Autism Diagnosis Interview-revised (ADI-R) and Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS).

For instance, distinguishing autistic symptoms is whether or not a true motivation (Le Couteur at al, 2008). When determining the relationship between symptom domains and distinct patterns, the researchers may separate the autistic domain rather than separate the global symptom severity (Le Couteur at al, 2008). The researchers study is based on debating between domain specific symptom and global symptom severity by separating the examination of demographic and clinical (Le Couteur at al, 2008). Also, age sex, and other demographic features would be considered when it comes measuring a developmental child’s level of autism (Le Couteur at al, 2008). Also, the researchers extended their study by examining an autistic child’s and their siblings through a full and through evaluation (Le Couteur at al, 2008).
