The automotive industry is the industry that allows for the United States to function. Not only does the automotive industry create jobs for tens of thousands of people, but it allows the people to travel. Whether this be to work, vacation, or to the grocery store, a form of automotive technology was used to create those places. This is where my fascination with automobiles surfaced. I am amazed with how the automobile allows the world as we know it to function. I am amazed how human engineering can allow so many moving parts to co-exist and create a large single working machine.

I will bring great enthusiasm, and a good light to the community. My father was a Ford automotive technician at Dier’s Ford in Fremont, Nebraska for 17 years, and he taught me a lot of things. The most important of the many things he taught me is, in order to become a good technician, you have to do the job right, no matter the circumstance. There seems to be a shady perception of the automotive repair industry, and I want that perception to disappear. This is why I have made my goal to turn that perception into a great thought that reflects a great place where people can receive whatever automotive service they want or need. Furthermore, I know that I can bring great enthusiasm to the automotive community. I love the culture that is related with automobiles. There are many car shows, cruises, races, and many other automotive activities that people can have a blast at. Personally I love all events that deal with cars. My absolute favorite event would be drag racing. I think it is really cool how people build their cars and run them as hard as you can.
