Killing people just so you can get an advantage is just not right. Imperialism is the state policy, practice,or advocacy of extending power and dominion, especially by direct territorial acquisition or by gaining political and economic control of other areas. Because it always involves the use of power, whether military force or some subtler form, imperialism has often been considered morally reprehensible, and the term is frequently employed in international propaganda to denounce and discredit an opponent’s foreign policy. The age of Imperialism was late 1800s and early 1900s. Europeans assumed control over the Native Africans. Imperialism and how it was displayed in Avatar. In the movie the economic Incentive for the humans is to get the valuable resource that is called unobtanium. How the humans try to gain control over the Na’vi. The humans first tried negotiate and find out what the Na’vi want in order for them to move to a different spot. But the Na’vi didn't want to so the humans used military force. How the Na’vi are viewed by the humans. In avatar the Na’vi are viewed as dangerous. The humans do not really care if they have to kill the natives as long as they get what they want. The movie Avatar showed economic incentive for the humans to attack the Na’vi. It also shows how the humans get what they want, but military force. Lastly it shows that the Na’vi (Native Africans) were treated very bad and thought to be not important so they didn't have a problem killing them. This movie is successful in it message about Imperialism because it shows all the key factors of imperialism. Imperialism was a not good thing that happened in the late 1800s,.
