Have you ever heard of the baseball legend, Babe Ruth? Well listen closely to find out. Babe was born on February 6, 1895, and grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. As a child, Babe was not very rich. They lived in the top of a bar that they owned. During his life, Babe was not very fit. Babe hated school and loved baseball, and skipped school whenever he could to play baseball with his friends. Due to this though, he was put in a special school called St. Mary’s industrial school for troubled boys, and he was respected there.
