There is nothing better than Elvis Presley's peak of career and the end of World War Two. The 1950’s were groundbreaking, television sets were a common household item starting in the 50’s. Also nothing like the Baby Boomers, a generation the world has never seen before. But with all good news comes bad news, war tensions began rising with Vietnam, the draft started back up, and the Baby Boomers everyone knew and loved were sent into a deadly war, where over 58 thousand Americans lost their lives. The Baby Boomers, a generation where changes were made, due to the end of World War Two all of the Veterans were eager to start a family, according to the website “History”, around 4 million babies were born each year in the fifties. As an result to all these babies cookie cutter houses were built rapidly, and families began to start there new life in the suburbs. The Baby Boomers were a huge fan of the rock n’ roll genre of music, their idols being signers such as The Beatles, Johnny Cash, and of course Elvis Presley. Their parents on the other hand though, found these musicians as horrify. “Elvis History Blog” even states that parents would often beat their children if they found them listen to artist such as Elvis Presley.
