To myself baseball is the greatest game that’s ever been played. A player must have extreme abilities to be able to have a chance to play on one of the thirty teams in professional baseball. Players get rewarded with a lot of money in a multi-year contract when they prove that they are better than most. When a player is noted as one of the best to ever play the game, that is when they will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is the ultimate goal for any player that has played in the professionals or any player that will play in the professionals.

He never gave up, ever, and because of his mindset, he is one of the best baseball players of all time (Wheeler, 1991). Overall, Hank Aaron was a true inspirational hero inside and
Many may say George “Babe” Ruth is the greatest American baseball player of all time, but do they really know what they are talking about. To start out, the era in which Ruth played in was in the time of segregation, depression and hostility. In his era outstanding players like Willie Hays, Hank Aaron, and Sandy Koufax were stuck in the Negro leagues because of racism. Adding to that, many talented baseball players were involved in World War I; Babe was not, so technically one may consider them the true American heroes. Babe Ruth is not a true All-American baseball hero because his stats do not compare to modern day baseball, he was an inappropriate and irresponsible “role model”, and in his era, Baseball had many advantages compared to today.

Those who make it through college baseball have a ten percent chance of being drafted or signed as a free agent for a Major League Baseball team. Once you are in the Minors you have about a ten percent chance of making it to the Majors. Not only players from America make it to the Mlb. There are many players from South America and you are all fighting for the same spot against people from all over the world.
After reading this book I have come to the realization that the factor of money played a major role in the absolute chaos that happened on Mount Everest during this expedition. Throughout this book, I have learned of the many dangers of Mount Everest and the new commercial way of climbing. As the years go on more and more people will begin to take advantage of this new way of getting the opportunity to climb Mount Everest. And because of this influx of people taking advantage of commercial climbing more and more deaths will occur. This leads me to say that money is the only way to gain this opportunity.

The game has always been thought to be “Americas Pastime” but in modern society some people believe that may not be the case. Is baseball Americas Pastime? It is a huge debate that has been developing over the past ten to twenty years. Although baseball is thought to be Americas favorite sport, The World Series is the third most watched sporting event which trails behind both football and soccer. Baseball may not be the most watched sport but the sales in popular baseball movies in the past thirty years can also prove its popularity.
Additionally, his insane skill at baseball, and hard work to do the best he could, influenced many other people to work just as hard as he did to become successful. I will need to put time and effort into becoming the best player I can be. Another thing I will have to do is go to the gym and workout. To get strong I will have to work out so I can hit when I play.
But my course in life has switched courses. Along the way, I dropped off the other sports and continued on with America’s Favorite Past time: Baseball. Since my size dictated my playing time, according to the coaches, it affected my devotion to the game because it is heartbreaking to be told you cannot do something. Over that period of time I realized how influential coaches are to their player, so I decided to become a coach to instill the never quit attitude in younger player’s minds. I have been coaching with Boca Raton Little League Baseball since my sophomore year, teaching the fundamental skills of baseball
