Did you ever think that baseball and football would be very similar? Well, there are many similarities as much as differences. People view football as the most physical sport than baseball. Football and Baseball are similar in that they have players that are in professional leagues, such as the MLB (Major League Baseball) and NFL (National Football League). These sports both use a ball that can be thrown to one another in a game. Another similarity is that one of the teams have to win the game. Therefore, it is called a sport. In these sports, you have to wear cleats because it gives players better traction when running from an opponent or running to another base. When it comes to talking about equipment, there are only 2 similarities, which are the cleats and the helmet, not the shoulder-pads, or the baseball bat in football. …show more content…

These sports are highly competitive when trying to win a game. When winning more than 8 games, the team with the most amount of wins are put in a tournament where they compete with the second most amount of wins of a team and are put in a tournament together where the best of the two winning teams win. There are so many crucial factors that play into these two sports than how people portray the sports themselves. Baseball is in season in the spring and Football is in the fall and winter. A baseball can only be thrown to another player and in football, the ball can be thrown and kicked. In baseball, there are umpires to call out the shots and in football there are referees. Both of these sports require both physical and mental aspects to play, but there is a difference in which of the two require more mental or more physical power to be successful. These two sports will explain their differences further down the
